Our verdict on LifeMD
LifeMD is a solid choice if you want brand-name medication and help getting insurance to pay. It prescribes the Wegovy® pill and pen, Zepbound® vials and pens, Foundayo® and Saxenda®, checks your coverage and handles prior authorization, and includes essential lab work.
Paying cash, it is expensive: the program fee is $39 in the first month and $149 a month after, and the medication is extra. Most sales are final. TotalRx's compounded plans cost $129 to $199 a month all-in, with the price locked for life, which is why it ranks above LifeMD for people paying out of pocket.

What to know before you choose LifeMD
Does the LifeMD fee include medication?
No. LifeMD's own FAQ says the $149 monthly program fee does not include medication cost. Customers on Trustpilot most often complain about not realising this. TotalRx's compounded plans include the medication and the clinician in one price, from $129 a month.
How does LifeMD's money-back guarantee work?
LifeMD offers money back if you do not lose 10% of your weight, but only after 12 continuous months, having attended every consultation, completed labs and logged your weight weekly, and the refund is reduced by program costs already incurred.
Does LifeMD accept Medicare?
Its weight loss page shows a "Medicare Accepted" badge, but its FAQ says Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE patients are not eligible for its GLP-1 weight loss programs.
