If brand-name is out of budget

A first year on the Wegovy® pill with a membership comes to about $5,000. Compounded semaglutide at TotalRx is $129 a month on a 12-month plan, with no membership and the price locked for life. It is a different product. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness, or quality. Our compounded vs brand-name guide explains the difference.
