Mochi Health reviews: low medication prices, plus a membership

Mochi Health pairs a doctor-led membership with some of the lowest compounded medication prices online, and it also prescribes brand-name GLP-1s and takes insurance for visits. The medication is not included in the membership, and its prices are set by dose. Here is how the two parts add up.

Our verdict on Mochi

Mochi is one of the better-supported programs we review, and its medication can be very cheap. Customers praise its clinicians, it offers dietitian visits and insurance help, and it lists compounded semaglutide from $60 and tirzepatide from $90 a month, plus brand-name pills and pens.

You pay a membership on top: $79 a month, or $588 for a year. Medication prices depend on your dose and are not published per dose, and Mochi's terms let it change medication prices at any time. TotalRx is simpler, with one price that includes the medication and is locked for life, which is why we rank it higher.

What to know before you choose Mochi

Does the Mochi membership include medication?

No. Mochi says medications and diagnostic services are not included in the membership. TotalRx includes the medication and the clinician in one price, from $129 a month, locked for life.

Will my Mochi price go up?

It can. Medication is priced by dose, so it rises as your dose does, and Mochi's terms say it may change medication prices at any time.

How do I cancel Mochi?

In your account or by phone; Mochi says email requests are not valid. The membership and the medication subscription are cancelled separately.

What people praise

  • Thorough, doctor-led care
  • Fast first visits and quick fixes when something goes wrong
  • Dietitian support
  • Good value at low doses

What people complain about

  • Provider calls that started late, ran short or did not connect
  • Membership renewals at a higher price than expected
  • Not realising the membership excludes medication
  • Medication that arrived warm or short of a full supply

Mochi's clinicians earn most of the praise. The friction is in scheduling and in having two separate charges to keep track of.
