Our verdict on Embody
Embody's prices are among the lowest we have seen, and its flat pricing is genuinely popular. Its store lists compounded semaglutide at $79 for a month or $69 a month on a 12-month plan, and tirzepatide at $129 or $119, with no membership fee and no increase as your dose rises.
Two things hold it back. Its own terms list different, much higher prices for some programs than its store does, so you need to check exactly which plan you are buying. And its refund policy is strict: all payments are final and prepaid plans cannot be refunded. TotalRx costs more, but it shows one price before you pay, refunds you in full if you are not approved, and refunds unshipped months on longer plans.
What Embody does well
- Low pricesThe store lists compounded semaglutide from $69 a month on a 12-month plan, and tirzepatide from $119.
- Same price at every doseEmbody says your price does not change when your dose changes, a point its happiest customers mention.
- No membership feeThe medication is included in the program price, with free expedited shipping.
- Support includedUnlimited appointments, 24/7 messaging and optional one-to-one coaching from non-clinician coaches.
How much does Embody cost?
Embody's store sells each medication by plan length, paid up front. The longer the plan, the lower the monthly price.
| Embody pricing | Price |
|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutide, 1 month | $79 |
| Semaglutide, 3 months | $228 ($76/mo) |
| Semaglutide, 12 months | $828 ($69/mo) |
| Compounded tirzepatide, 1 month | $129 |
| Tirzepatide, 3 months | $378 ($126/mo) |
| Tirzepatide, 12 months | $1,428 ($119/mo) |
| Membership fee | None |
Embody's terms and conditions describe other programs with very different prices, including a promotional plan at $99 for the first month then $299 a month for semaglutide, and a "locked-in" plan from $149 to $199 a month. The price you pay is whatever checkout shows, so confirm the plan name and the price for month two before you pay.
What to know before you choose Embody
Can I get a refund from Embody?
Rarely. Embody's refund policy says all subscription payments are final when made, with a partial refund only if a provider medically disqualifies you. Prepaid plans are non-refundable in whole and in part, and customers report being offered credit instead of refunds. TotalRx refunds you in full if you are not approved and refunds unshipped months if you stop a longer plan.
Why do Embody's prices differ between pages?
Its home page, store and terms show different price structures. The home page's $69 and $119 are the 12-month rates.
How long does Embody take to ship?
Embody does not publish a timescale. Shipping delays are the most common complaint in its recent low-star reviews.
